In our continued commitment to serving our members, Fine Art Registry™ has developed the FAR Certificate of Authenticity. This new service is offered absolutely free of charge to all FAR member artists. The FAR Certificate of Authenticity is designed solely as a marketing tool for those artists who wish to provide paper certificates for their buyers and patrons.

The FAR Certificate of Authenticity is not meant to be utilized as a replacement for the Fine Art Registry™ patented tagging system. The Fine Art Registry™ tag applied to the artwork or object itself is the only effective means for recording and conclusively establishing authenticity and provenance of the originating artist’s work. Unlike traditional paper certificates of authenticity that are easily printed, faked, forged, duplicated and copied, the Fine Art Registry tag cannot be counterfeited.

Disclaimer. The FAR Certificate of Authenticity alone is not evidence of nor will the work associated with the FAR Certificate of Authenticity be recognized by Fine Art Registry™ as an official registered work unless the work bears the patented Fine Art Registry ID tag* and a permanent record of the art exists in the Fine Art Registry database. In using the FAR Certificate of Authenticity you agree to abide by the terms of the Fine Art Registry User Agreement and other policies. The FAR Certificate of Authenticity is meant to be utilized solely as a marketing tool for artists and may not be changed or altered from its original format.
*FAR is in the process of developing a solution for smaller objects that the current tag will not accommodate.
