Park West Gallery Sues Fine Art Registry Since the ever popular Park West Gallery has thrown down the gauntlet and served Fine Art Registry and its personnel with outrageous lawsuits for defamation and slander (in other words, for speaking the truth), we thought it only fitting that we report on all aspects of the continuing litigation so that the public and all in this Forum, our members and guests, can follow along and perhaps learn something valuable along the way. There aren’t too many examples of lawsuits like this in the art world, and the fact that Fine Art Registry will be reporting it all only makes it that much more interesting. Artists and collectors, dealers, gallery owners, museum curators, attorneys, law enforcement, or anyone with an interest in art and art law will want to follow this thread. The Truth About Limited Edition Reproductions It is the ease and speed with which an art print or multiple can be created today, coupled with an uninformed public that give rise to exploitation, fraud, forgery and fakery in the print or multiples industry.
